What happens when you stick around the gym long enough

I wan’t talk about you about what happens if you if you stick around long enough at the Gym.

what are some good things that’ll happen at the gym well, you get more comfortable working out. You start to understand what some of the words, abbreviations what the movements are and you start to develop a sense of like athleticism, you get a little better you retain some information and it’s not so new when we go to show your squat again or how to really do a push-up or Olympic lifting those moves can take years to master so if you don’t stick around long enough you will never learn them. Some of these people say like I’ll get ripped in like 90 days because they hear that advertising all of the time but really thats just a way to get you into the gym. It’s just a tactic to get you started. You don’t actually get ripped in 90 days It’s the bare minimum of what you need to do to start to see some results, that makes you wan’t do even more and get better at the movement, you’re gonna get stronger, you’re gonna feel like tighter it feels so good. Thats that feeling we all talk about when you get that “pump” you want that pump to stay it feels really good but unless you’ve worked out for a while, you don’t even know what that means.

You might stay around long enough that you’re actually able to work on some nutrition habits, working out is one thing nutrition another thing. We have our six points of health and wellness here across the Plainfield that we dive into but those are too big ones that you need to work on (exercise and Nutrition). You might start making some friends who motivate you and push you in the right direction instead of having drinking friends or hang out friends or smoking friends, you might actually develop some healthy habits, that follow you for your entire life.

As you get more fit you can now try some other things that might interest you like a 5K or a mud run or a high rox competition or Deka run, there’s 1 million things out there or you might want to try because you’ll be able to do more fun activities because you’re stronger and not so out of breath every two minutes and like having to stop.

You could really change how your life goes on longer, you can prevent heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure these are things that most of us can control through diet nutrition, but medication works better and easier and I can just continue doing the shit I always do and just take more medication right it doesn’t actually prolong anything. You’re actually just hiding some symptoms and masking it and you’re gonna freaking die no one wants to die trust me But if you really work on medication can help you but if you really work on it, you can get off those medications and live longer and stronger life is what I like to say. I know it’s cliché but like imagine if you lived active in your 60s and 70s and we’re able to do the things you want now that you have more time and money hopefully if you been saving properly and investing if you stick around long enough, you might show your kids some good habits are they start doing that before they wait till their 30s or 40s and they start with a good foundation when they’re young maybe if you stick around long enough, you could help some other people what you do influences them people always wan’t to know ‘hey what are you doing why are you looking so good? You’ve lost some weight you’re starting to look ripped like what’s your secret” Listen people there’s no fucking secret. You have to do some basic things. 1. sleep 2. drink your water 3. exercise and lift some weights 4. eat a little better. Continue to eat a little better eat a little better eat a little better. Those are all things you can work on, which are also easy easy things not to work on.

So what if I don’t stick around long enough? All that shit you might’ve learned because then you come back into the cycle of like I start to stop I start and stop. We know that doesn’t get any results and I see it too many times. I’m like why did you stop? I don’t even know. I just get frustrated. I don’t see results and I stop doing it. I’m like well let’s break that cycle and actually get some damn results so that you’ll stay longer. If not I guarantee you’re gonna continue to gain weight as you get older about 10 pounds a decade. How’s that sound? If you like weigh 150 and by the time you’re 50 you’re gonna weigh 200 pounds doesn’t sound very good. Does it? and same thing for men you’re gonna go from like 180 to I should use better math, but 230 would not increase in muscle size but just a mass which is not good. OK what are some other things if you don’t do this? well you might not change your kids trajectory by showing them the exercise, and healthy and productive. teaching that alcohol isn’t the solution or drugs or cigarettes, These bad habits are coping mechanisms that we can pour that into exercise and will be so much more better for especially the mental part which we haven’t even touched on I could go on and on, but mentally so many people know if I work out I feel better but really they notice when they don’t work out and they feel shitty so if you don’t stick around long enough, you might never realize those good things you’re getting from it when you miss a week or two and then you finally get back like oh shit I miss this so much right now. So those are some things that you might not get if you don’t stick around long enough sticking around is hard but sticking around to get you the results that you actually want so if you’re committing to yourself for like three months, then I’m proud of you, but you gotta do more.

You just have to do more Stop listening to the excuses in your head stop listening to people or telling you you don’t need to do it because they’re full of shit it’s just because they don’t do it, but the people who exercise and work out and work on getting better in life are the people you should be listening to? They’re gonna prop you up and push you forward and pull you with them and do all the good things. If you don’t stick around, you can’t do that for the next person or the next generation so not only not helping yourself but you’re not helping the family and friends to follow the next generation stick around long enough to get all those damn good results. That way we can live longer healthier stronger and help more people. Hope that helps.
