How to change your lifestyle? This can seem like a very huge and daunting thing. Where do I start? Work, exercise, diet, relationships, mentality.
Well, it is easier than you think. We start with one thing—the easiest thing, so that we get a win. Think- drink a glass of water when you wake up. That is a win. Once you can do that for two weeks straight, we are going to add another lifestyle change.
Then we are going to pick the next obstacle, say exercise. For those who currently do nothing, you are going to go for a walk for five minutes. It might be easy and that is ok, just do it to build the habits. The first part is accountability. You must have someone to report it to so you get that “good job”. The win part motivates you, so that you want to do the next thing and the next thing after that.
Over time, you will start to realize that your lifestyle is changing without having a big drastic change that usually leads to a failure because it is too hard to maintain.
