Who are you?

Written by: Scott Romijn

If I were to ask the 5 people closest to you to describe your characteristics, what would they say?

Would you be happy with what you heard? Would the answers match what you think of yourself or would you be surprised?

We are the sum of the people who we surround ourselves with. These individuals should lift us up and support us.  They should challenge us as well. If you are surrounding yourself with individuals that don’t meet these requirements, it is time to level up and make yourself better.

Now I’m not saying that these are bad people. They just might not be the people who move you forward. Although I can’t take credit for it, this quote rings true. “The people who got you to where you are today will not be the people who get you to where you want to go.” (source unknown).

It is time to grow!

Nothing stays the same and change is scary, I get that. Heck, sometimes it doesn’t feel good when it is happening either. Surround yourself with individuals that will help you get stronger both physically and mentally. Let’s build a better mindset and take the good from every encounter.

Ask yourself … “Who am I?”

Write it down in one column. Now in the next column write down who you want to be.

Who I am Who I want to be
Boss Leader
Bearded guy Bearded guy
Gym Owner Entrepreneur
Friend Friend
Lacks confidence Confident
Fun Fun
Fiancé/Love Husband/Dad

Do any of these match up? If so, then great. Now it’s time to work on the points of who we want to be.

In this example, you can see that the sum of these match up, while others don’t. The ones that don’t,  are the ones that we can help you with. With the right mindset you can reach your full potential and be the person you want to be.

We are here to help you with your mindset road blocks.
